Elham Isari (b. 1987, Iran) received her B.A from Chelsea College of Arts and Design. Her works have been shown in a number of group exhibitions both in Iran and England. In her series “Lands”, the artist depicts the wrinkled body of mothers after they have given birth as lands that used to be the source of life. She is searching every inch of this ‘motherland’ in hopes of finding maternal love but eventually ends up staring down an endless hole each time.
